Information For Parents

Who is eligible?

The patient must be under 17 years old (on 31 March 2023)
The patient must be from Cambodia
The patient’s household income must be less than 14,000 USD

What information do we need?

During your online application, we will require:

Driving license/Government ID of parent
Contact information of parent (Full Name, Address, Telegram)
Information of child (Full Name, Nationality, Age)
Description of the skin condition
Photos of the skin condition
Finally, we want to know how much our help will benefit your child, so we will ask you “how will these treatments improve your child’s future?”

What to expect?

After your application has been made, please wait up to 14 days after the deadline for the decision. Our staff will contact you via Telegram.

Before the treatment, there will be a free consultation.

During the consultation, we will identify the best treatment. We will also begin to document the patient’s transformation. This means we will take some photos before and after the treatments.

There will be no cost to pay for patients involved in this project. It is 100% free.

FAQs

“Are 17-year-olds eligible?”

The Derma Kids Cambodia project is only for children below the age of 17.

“Do you accept applicants directly from children?”

No. Unfortunately, we cannot. There are three points to make:

All applications must be submitted by an adult.
All communication will be between Era and the parent/guardian of the child – not directly with the child.
The parent/guardian who filled out the application must accompany the child for visits to the clinic.

“Do both parents need to apply?”

No. Only one parent is necessary on the application.

“Do I need to mention the income of just one parent or both?”

The income needs to be the total income of both parents. We call it household income.

“Does the parent need to be Cambodian?”

No. Only the child must be Cambodian.

“Does Era provide only one treatment session?”

This project aims to help children overcome severe skin conditions. It can take time to achieve so we give each patient multiple treatment sessions to help them gain a meaningful result.
